What made this book especially powerful for me was how closely it mirrored someone I love. Terry had always felt an unexplainable discomfort with flying. Not fear, but something deeper. He was also drawn to World War II in a way that felt personal. Reading this book together, we found ourselves pausing often, reflecting on details that felt strangely familiar. At times, when he was too tired, I would read aloud, and those moments became something I’ll always hold onto.

This book didn’t just tell a story; it opened a door. It made me more open to the idea that life may not end here, that we may be here to learn something we carry forward. Terry used to say, “Life is just temporary. We are here to learn our lessons.” This book gave that belief a deeper meaning, and gave us both a sense of hope.

Whether or not you believe in reincarnation, this is a moving and thought-provoking read. I would recommend it to anyone who has ever wondered about what comes after this life, or who is simply open to the possibility that there may be more to our story than we understand.
